The Optimist Club of Boyertown’s youth basketball program is a developmental program that promotes skill development and enhancement, leadership, and teambuilding opportunities in a fun, healthy, and safe environment.

The basketball program runs from early November through mid-March for practices, games, the championship tournament, and all-star games.

Girls and boys in grades five and six who reside within or attend a school within the boundaries of the Boyertown Area School District are encouraged to participate in the program.

Because this program is a developmental program, prior experience is not necessary. Participants are divided in to teams by gender. The teams are comprised of a mixture of both grade levels.
